The ARP shall cover the objectives and activities of Verification & Vallidation Processes required to assure high quality and/or criticality level of an IVHM Systems and Software.
Rationale: 1) The ARP for IVHM V&V does not exist.
2) There are diverse elements involved in IVHM (both airborne and ground based), and these need to be addressed.
3) The HM-1 Committee that met recently in Bangalore detemined that an ARP is required.
