Rationale: This document is intended to provide comprehensive reference and background information pertaining to the design and certification of oxygen systems for private and commercial transport aircraft which fly at altitudes above 40,000 feet.
As such, this document shall supersede AIR847, which is non-current and refers to ancient technologies and approaches that are either not applicable or no longer to be used for New Designs.
