Given in this paper are the characteristics of a sub-orbital passenger system as one of the versions of a Russian Multi-purpose Aerospace System (MAKS) based on the proven six engine AN-225 carrier jet aeroplane. The existing Russian technology permits within the next 5 years the creation of the so called MAKS system, which provides for three versions, that differ from each other by the 2nd stage payload carried. All versions are equipped with the a standardized three propellant-component two-regime rocket engine. The Russian MAKS system embraces a wide range of prospective payloads with a high expected launching rate, and this sub-orbital passenger version consists of the fully reusable component versions of the MAKS system.
