Rationale: The AE-7 commitee is interested in recommending updates to MIL-E-7016 to include consideration of electrcial load dynamics and their effect on power source. This project may also support system stability considerations for maintaining power system stability across the life of the aircraft. On-demand high efficiency MEA aircraft may suffer from very little stability margin due to lack of low losses damping. Particularly, the effect of sizing or designing a generation system for very short duration or cyclical “pulse” loads is lacking from sizing considerations.
