Infrasound Phenomenon in Engine Test Cells
AIR5303
This SAE Aerospace Information Report (AIR) has been written for individuals associated with the ground level testing of large turbofan and turbojet engines, and particularly those who are interested in infrasound phenomena.
Rationale: I am proposing a revision to section 6.4 to discuss scale model successes, adding a new section 6.6 to discuss computer simulation methods to predict and mitigate infrasound, and adding a new section 7.7 discussing how Helmholz resonators can be used to mitigate infrasound problems.
