Fleet Monitoring can be divided into three levels: Macro level Micro level Advanced level. Fleet Monitoring process steps are: 1) Choosing the engine or component to be researched 2) Determining all kinds of tests that must be done to obtain information about the parameters of reliability, maintainability and availability 3) Establishing the periods for the partial analysis of the test results without affecting the vehicles' availability 4) Choosing and evaluating the fleet to be monitored in order to obtain reliable data 5) Systematic gathering of data through periodic visits 6) Compilation of the data obtained 7) Communicating the results to the other related departments.
