New Development of Plate and Fin Evaporator 981179

The ever increasing demand for quality, performance, package size and weight impose strict challenges on the Auto A/C system design. The evaporator cools and dehumidifies the air before entering passenger cabin and thus plays a major role in assuring passenger comfort level while meeting competing demands.
A new type plate and fin evaporator “laminated plate and fin heat exchanger” has been developed to meet the various challenges. Features of the new evaporator which have been designed specifically for use in motor vehicles, include its light weight, the separation of plates and tank to combat the problem of corrosion, and use of the Nocolok™ brazing method.
