Results of the J-5 Marco Dynamic Similar Model Flight Tests Program 975551
J-5 Marco-Mini Remotely Piloted Vehicle flight tests program is presented. It have been undertaken to develop methods of testing of some aircraft qualities before aircraft prototypes are built. During test program the following features of J-5 RPV have been explored: velocity polar, neutral points positions, spin and stall behavior, dynamic response for disturbance with free and fixed stick. In the paper main assumptions, aircraft selection criteria, test procedures, equipment and software are discussed. Moreover results of flight tests and their comparison with full scale aircraft flight tests results are presented.
