Treatment of the Gaseous Pollutant Sulfur Dioxide in a Binary Fluidized Bed through the Reaction with Limestone 973076
The present work was aimed at evaluating, on a bench scale, the influences of the operation temperature and the Ca/S molar ratio in the fraction of SO2 removal in a continuous binary fluidized bed reactor, through a reaction with dolomitic limestone. It showed a significant contribution of the added Ca/S molar ratio for the 500-600°C range, as well as the strong influence of the temperature in the gas removal fraction for the 550-700°C range.}
