A Study on the Meshing Theory and Cutting Technology for Rack & Pinion Steering Gears with Variable Ratio 972755
This paper deals with rack and pinion steering gear with variable ratio, covering the meshing theory, the machining principle and the cutting technology. Based on theoretical results, a new method as well as an apparatus for cutting rack flanks are presented.
