Assembling Small Components Using a Specialized Die Casting Technique 970377

The injected metal process provides automotive suppliers with opportunities for improved product quality, enhanced production efficiencies and reduced costs in the assembly of small components manufactured from a diverse range of materials.
This technology uses molten zinc alloy to form a permanent, mechanical joint which assembles components with a high degree of precision. It can usually eliminate several components from the assembly by forming them as an integral part of the injected metal joint, producing a superior product while reducing manufacturing and material costs. Component preparation is reduced and secondary operations are eliminated. Assemblies are ready for use in the next production step.
Custom designed semi-automatic or fully automatic injected metal systems can be integrated into a production line. Automatic feeders, articulators and conveyors are designed to meet specific production needs.
