Vehicle Dynamics Simulation and Suspension System Design 970105
Due to the increasing interest for the design and development of small electric cars, as well as the conversion of thermal vehicles to electric ones, there is a real demand for the development of algorithms that can be used from independent designers or small manufacturers with personal computers, for the design and evaluation of the suspension system characteristics. The algorithm presented here performs structural and dynamic analysis of the suspension system of small cars utilizing a full-screen editor. Results are provided in text and graphics form.
