Anodized Aluminum, an Alternative to Glass Visor Vanity Mirrors 970014
Over the years silver or chrome coated glass has become the dominant material used for automotive visor vanity mirrors. Its durable surface and good reflective qualities made it the material of choice. Specifications surrounding glass are somewhat vague, it is just the material that has been used.
