Alternative Performance Turbocharger Bearing Design 962500

Performance turbochargers utilized for motorsports applications have historically suffered from inadequate bearing systems. Much of this problem is attributable to the original design concept of commercial turbochargers as applied to diesel applications. Analysis of current turbocharger bearing design philosophy as well as alternative hybrid design considerations have shown that many of the operational inadequacies of performance turbochargers can be resolved.
