A Novel Steering Vibration Stabilizer 960930

A new and innovative vibration stabilizer device, named RAPS, for hydraulic rack and pinion power steering system has been developed and tested in an automobile with known steering shudder problem. Test results have shown that RAPS is capable of reducing steering shudder by 90%. A U.S. Patent application covering the RAPS technology has been filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademarks Office.
