Pro-Ject Air-Assisted Fuel Injection System for Two-Stroke S.I. Engines 960360

A new original air-assisted, low-pressure, pumpless fuel injection system for two-stroke, S.I. engines is presented.
The system does not annul the typical simplicity and low production cost of conventional two-stroke, crankcase scavenged, S.I. engines. Indeed the injection air is supplied by the crankcase and the whole design is based on simple and low-cost solutions.
With reference to this system methodologies are also discussed to improve the behaviour of combustion at low loads.
