Plasmo-Ozonocatalytic System of Microcontaminants Removal from Atmosphere 951561
The paper discusses the potentialities of the plasmo-ozonocatalytic (POC) system for removal of microcontaminants (MC).
Atmosphere contaminated by vapours of ethylene, ammonia and halon C2F4Br2 was vented through a plasmo-catalytic unit. It was shown that process of plasmo-chemical decomposition of ethylene was connected with formation of formaldehyde. It was found that achieved degree of removal ethylene was 70%, ammonia - 99% and C2F4Br2 - 92%.
