Vibration Analysis of Belt Drive System 950539

Vibration behavior of a belt drive system is analyzed, both theoretically and experimentally. Moving contact between belt and pulley is considered as well as the coupling between belt spans. For typical belt drive parameters this coupling and moving contact increase the fundamental transverse natural frequency compared to the simply supported case.
