Self-Calibrating Hall-Effect Pilot Timing Sensor for Diesel Fuel Injectors 940380
A new Pilot Timing Sensor (PTS) has been developed that allows the precise determination of the beginning and end of fuel injection in dual-or-single stage diesel engine fuel injectors. The sensor is inexpensive, rugged, small, and easy to maintain and interface. It can be multiplexed or stand alone. It operates at any speed down to zero or to over 10,000 RPM (or to 25 kHz).
