Electric Shift Part-Time Transfer Case - 1992 S-10 Blazer 930918

The 233 Electric Shift Part-time Transfer Case was developed by New Venture Gear (NVG) to provide drivers with push-button control for all shift positions. Coupled with electronic controls and vehicle interlocks, the system had to meet cost goals. This state-of-the-art transfer case and electronic control module, which was launched in the 1992 GM S-10 Blazer, improves vehicle passenger compartment space, reduces noise, eliminates shift effort, and prevents inadvertent shift conditions as a result of the substantial hardware and software controls incorporated in this shift system. Two-speed, shift-on-the-fly features were carried over from the manual shift 231 case.
