Development of a Lightweight Heavy Fuel Rotary Engine 930682

A single rotor wankel engine displacing 294 cc was converted from a carbureted gasoline configuration to a turbocharged, direct injected heavy fuel engine. This engine is intended to replace gasoline engines currently used in Unmanned Air Vehicles (UAV's), which require a high power to weight ratio and low fuel consumption.
