A New Diesel Mixture Formation Approach for Small High-Speed Two-Stroke Engine Applications 890210
A new Diesel mixture formation process for small high-speed two-stroke engine applications has been developed by the authors. Different injection techniques were applied. A conventional mechanically governed injection system is compared with an electronically controlled ram-tuned fuel injection system. The latter results in more advantageous characteristic values of the engine.
