Theoretical Analysis and Result of Test of Friction Loss Power in Originally Developed Vane Compressor 880565

Although a turbo charging system generally utilized to improve the combustion efficiency of automobile internal combustion engines, a problem of its insufficient performance at low speed driving has not been solved in sprite of various researches and developments. On the other hand, a mechanical charging system is known to be greatly contributive to engines to upgrade its power at low to high speed ranges while the turbo charging system can effectively obtain high pressure at super high speed rotation. This paper describes the process of the developments for the purpose of improvement of a vane type compressor, constituting a type of traditional mechanical charging system, i.e, to decrease friction loss power.
