Photogrammetric Mapping of Vehicle Deformations 861421

Current mapping techniques can be applied to the analysis of vehicle deformations. A stereo mensuration system specifically designed for 35mm and 70mm format non-metric cameras is an effective tool for obtaining numerical as well as graphical results. An overview of photogrammetry is provided, and the specific field techniques which facilitate the mapping are described in detail. A detailed field equipment list is included to enable the reader to begin immediately acquiring the correct stereo photographs for this mapping technique.
