Design of an Industrial Gas Turbine Intake-A Critical Item 770968

The design of stationary industrial gas turbine inlet systems has a dramatic effect on turbine performance. Insufficient filtration can shorten the intervals between maintenance. Misapplied filtration can starve turbine intake air, thereby reducing performance.
Turbine inlet noise, on the other hand, is a prime source of turbine noise which must be silenced.
Both problems, filtration and noise, must be considered for optimum performance.
