This paper discusses the new concept, design, and application of the elevating scraper in the earthmoving industry.
The elevating scraper is completely self-loading and has attracted wide acclaim in the overall reduction of earth-moving costs. It has been proven by the thousands of units in the field today. Comparisons between the conventional versus elevating scraper are discussed, with emphasis on the performance advantages to be achieved with the latter type of earthmoving equipment.
