The New Packard Torsion Level Suspension 560026

PRINCIPLES of a new suspension utilizing torsion bars and a levelizing unit are presented. Among other things, it is claimed to provide a flat, level, and more stable ride on both the boulevard and open road.
Several design features are discussed, and it is concluded that this new design should probably initiate a cycle of development in automotive suspensions.
