Seamless System-Oriented Development Process - A Key Factor for Error Prevention and Cost Reduction 2007-01-1278
The engineering complexity of electrical and electronic systems (E/E) in vehicles is increasing from car generation to car generation, so the need for optimized development processes has also increased rapidly. However, in numerous projects development tasks are still carried out unsynchronized. There is a new approach to E/E developments - focusing on the concept phase. Key factors are system and function orientation and also the seamless transfer from one project phase to the next one. Resulting benefits are the realization of cost and time savings and a substantial increase in product quality.
