Biodegradation of Disposed Means of Personal Hygiene 2005-01-3024
Disposed sanitary hygiene wipes, used in spaceflight were subjected to microbial decomposition using thermophylic anaerobes. The results reveal diminution of dry mass to 6-12 % from initial values.
