AFS Light Distribution Control 2004-01-0438

The light distribution concepts of bending light as Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS) were investigated when running on a curved road. In order to improve visibility on a curved road, we studied not only how to swivel the distribution pattern but also what would prevent us from safe driving when the lights were swiveled. Consequently we reached the conclusion that swiveling both but at different angles was the best.
