Study on Condition of Stability of Motorcycle at Low Speed 2002-32-1797

A motorcycle is unstable at low speed on account of the inherent properties, but a rider is able to maintain a motorcycle being stable by his elaborate control. The more a motorcycle speed tends to be lower, the more keeping a motorcycle in upright standing state is difficult. Consequently, stumbling motion or turning over possibility occurs. It is required that these defects do not appear. In this paper, the motorcycle that has steering support sub-system is supposed. The control model that is able to keep a motorcycle in upright standing state is examined. Referring to the above facts, steering angle control or steering torque control has possibility.
