Precision High Density P/M Materials for Heavy Duty Transmission Components: Gears and OWC Races 2002-01-0339

A family of high performance P/M materials with densities in the 7.55-7.75 g/cc range has been developed. These alloys exhibit very good dimensional control with high strength and elongation. Properties are reported.
