An Estimate of Temperature in a Passenger Compartment by Numerical Simulation Using the Linear Graph Theory 1999-01-1188

A modification for an analysis of a thermo-fluid system using the linear graph theory is presented in this paper. To estimate temperature field in a passenger compartment quickly, we developed a simplified numerical simulation method using the linear graph theory. Since the flow velocity obtained by this method, however, is not so good, we modify the procedure of calculating a temperature field as follows: we discard calculating the velocity field, instead we use an observed velocity data to estimate a temperature. Therefore, we obtained a good agreement between calculated results by the modified method and experiment.
