Developed by DYNAMIC SOFTWARE, OPTRIS is a software package dedicated to the modelization of sheet metal forming in an industrial environment. In order to simulate the complete process in a realistic time for the industry and with the greatest easiness, some specific tools and algorithms have been developed in OPTRIS - the solver, based on the explicit finite element method combined with an automatic mesh refinement - and its pre- and post-processor FICTURE.
