Development of Hydraulic Booster Unit for Active Brake Control

Active brake controls such as vehicle stability control, VSC, panic brake assist, PBA, etc. have recently been applied to many vehicles. We have developed a new hydraulic brake actuator for active brake control systems. This new hydraulic brake actuator is composed of hydraulic brake booster unit, power supply unit and control valve unit. This paper describes the design of the new hydraulic brake booster unit.
