The concept of Modular Clutch Assembly is in constant evolution following customer requests and engine specifications. This document deals with an adapted proposal of a Compact Modular Clutch Assembly, for a new petrol engine. In addition to traditional advantages, such as: integration of other functions, cost reduction in the assembly plant, quality improvements, etc., the following specific features have been implemented: 1) - Reduction of mass/inertia ratio. 2) - Enhanced perfomances damper. 3) - Optimization of overall axial dimensions. 4) - Long life clutch. 5) - Cost optimization. 6) - Reduction of release bearing load.
