We have developed a New Black and White STN-LCD ( Super Twisted Nematic Liquid Crystal Display) technology which has high contrast ratio (CR) using a single LCD layer for an Automotive application. This display technology has superiority in Electro Optical characteristics, structure and manufacturing cost compared with other LCD technologies used for Automotive information displays. We believe that this information display technology will be widely used for applications ranging from high-class cars to popular-class cars due to the excellent visibility of New Black and White STN LCD technology.
