Stamping Analysis Programs have been developed for the analysis of forming severity of auto-body panels in die design stage. Developed programs are integrated into a total CAD/CAM system for the purpose of the practical usage. In this paper, main functions and contents of the programs are introduced.

It is well known that there are some differences between eastern & western people's body size. But eastern people's physical condition is not considered enough in designing seat. In this study, it is tried to find the relationship of seat comfort differences between eastern and western people by analyzing anthropometic data and subjective seat comfort feeling. And some key point and direction of design concept is set up by considering their anthropomeric differences and subjective preference, and showed optimal guide lines of good seat for eastern & western people.

In this paper, stresses at the suspension components are calculated using the joint reaction forces obtained from computer simulation. The Shear Force Diagram, Bending Moment Diagram, and the stress distribution of the damper strut are also calculated. The AutoDyn7 program is used for the computer simulation, which is a vehicle dynamics program developed in G7 project.
