Effect of Weight Number of Object Function on Control Force and Performance of Vehicle Active Suspension

The influences among the weight number of object function, maximum value of suspension optimum control force and suspension performance are analyzed in this paper. A total state feedback controller for the 7-degree-freedoms modal of total vehicle based on random optimum control strategy is built. By ADAMS &MATLAB \simulink co-simulation, the influence of weight number of object function on maximum value of suspension control force and suspension performance is discussed in the paper. It obtains the relations among maximum value of suspension optimum control force, suspension performance and the variety of weight number Then a set of weight number which are applied to the object function of optimum control for the car are selected at last.

The Co-simulation of Steering and Suspension System with ADAMS&Matlab/Simulink

Based on the tire and road model of virtual prototype, using the co-simulation of ADAMS&Matlab/Simulink, combining with the optimal control theory, contrastive research is done among the system of passive suspension and front wheel steering the simple combination system of active suspension and four wheel steering and the integrated system of active suspension and four wheel steering. The theory analysis and simulation test indicate the integrated control system can greatly improve handling and riding performance of vehicle.

A Time Domain Method for Identification of Modal Parameters of Automobile by Microcomputer

The method of time series analysis is one of the most important time domain modal analysis techniques, however, its application to automotive experimental modal analysis is restricted by lack of an effective way to determine order of the time series model, By G-transformation, a new criterion for determination of model order is presented in this paper, so the obstacle is overcome. Besides, a new algorithm for estimation of time series model is presented and two kinds of models are used for identification of modal parameters, therefore the method of time series analysis can be applied better to automotive modal analysis. Last, an example of identifying automobile frame by our method is given. The identification results are better in conformity with the results of frequency domain method.
