Concealed AM/FM Antenna and Reception Subsystem for the Quarter Glass of SUV’s and Mini-Vans

A concealed antenna reception subsystem whose receiving antenna element is screened on the quarter glass of a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) or Mini-Van is described and demonstrated. System design requirements, topology of prior technology fixed mast reception systems that the concealed system replaces, the concealed antenna subsystem topology, a receiving antenna element, and reception system performance parameters and issues are discussed with examples and data.
