The number of vehicles with ABS (Anti-lock Brake System) has been increasing strongly lately and in 2014 Brazil will have 100% of all manufactured vehicles with this system. Therefore, South America is passing through a process similar to the one that developed countries already passed, where all manufactured vehicles had the ABS included. This process of improving the vehicle safety through the use of the vehicle brakes has a lot to be developed in the South America and especially in Brazil, once the developed countries have stability control systems such as the ESP already included in all new manufactured vehicles. The aim of this article is to study the Brazilian's driving behavior under specific braking situations. It is proposed a testing and analysis methodology from vehicle data acquisition.
